P2P Send — share files directly

Send files or text from one device to another, browser to browser. Nothing is uploaded to a server: you share a code or QR, the other device opens it, and the files go straight across.

Files travel directly between the two browsers over an encrypted WebRTC connection and are saved only on the receiving device — never uploaded or stored by uTechNext. With a short code, our connection service passes only the connection details (no file data) and forgets them after 15 minutes. In no-server mode not even that leaves your devices.

No-server mode: the two browsers swap a link and a reply code, then connect directly. Nothing — not even the connection details — goes through uTechNext. Best when both devices are on the same Wi-Fi.

Drop files here or choose files

Any type, several files at once. Large files work best on desktop Chrome or Edge.

A note, a link, a password you'd rather not paste into a chat app. Up to 100,000 characters.

No-server mode: one receiver per link, keep both pages open until it finishes. Direct connections only — some office, school or hotel networks block them.

How it works

  1. Choose files or type text, then create a link (and a QR).
  2. Open the link or scan the QR on the other device. In no-server mode, send its reply code back and paste it. Both screens then show the same 4-digit code — confirm it matches.
  3. The files go directly between the two browsers, in pieces, with a checksum for each file, and are saved on the receiving device. Keep both pages open until it says done.
